Either my 2yo is a GENIUS or I have the television on too much in my house. On the way to the polls this morning he kept saying, "Mom, I boat rock obama and john mccain?" (typed like he actually speaks..hehehe)
Just heard on FOX that some of our deployed military from Virginia were not given absentee ballots in time, my son is one of those. I hear they are considering a 10 day extension for those in Iraq and Afghanistan to cast their votes. What a crazy election, we need to keep our eyes open and see what happens. I love the photo of the military voting, if anyone deserves to vote it is our military!!! Kathleen
kathy and paula... That is WRONG! Those fighting for our freedoms, should be given EVERY opportunity to vote, to have their ballots counted...even before the rest of us (imho) Such a sad statement of how messed up our system can be at times! We can learn and grow as a nation, I beleive we will!
Christopher didn't receive an absentee ballot either. Luckily he was home today so as soon as we left the funeral we went to vote. It is sad, they should have been allowed to vote sooner.
christopher's mom... as sad the circumstances to bring him home, I am so thankful he had the opportunity to vote! Please know your family is in my prayers.
