According to Merriam-Webster, the definition of the word, Diplomacy
1: the art and practice of conducting negotiations between nations
2: skill in handling affairs without arousing hostility : tact
Is there really such a thing as Diplomacy?
How can it be achieved in our world today?

sometimes, yes it can. and definitely on a small interpersonal scale. But, as with everything in our world, diplomacy has it's own time and place....it is not always appropriate.
