I've enjoyed visiting your blog this evening for the first time. I too have a son in the military...Army Ranger school at present being taught to fly helicopters. He was in the Airforce for about 7 years before going over to the Army to fly helicopters.

What wonderful news getting to see your son. I'll be following along.

Blessings of peace and all that is good!

ok, so maybe not what you're hoping for....but I made an emergency appt at the rectal MD cause something was amiss with the stitches "down there".....turns out it was just swelling and pain to be expected with this extensive a surgery. Gonna take a lot longer than expected to get back in my usual swing.

and I made it to the corner and back today TA-DAH! (we're the second house from the corner....but still!)

Wonderful! Give him a big, long hug...or two...or ten.

Good news about Mudpuppy. Sure wish he could blog without fear, as in a country that believed in free speech. (what a concept)

This story of the sixty year old major who died in Iraq---wow
