Consider it done. It is a duty, and it was a privilege.
chris...thanks for stopping by!
This pic is so simple yet so powerful.Hallie
I did it, too!
Either my 2yo is a GENIUS or I have the television on too much in my house. On the way to the polls this morning he kept saying, "Mom, I boat rock obama and john mccain?" (typed like he actually speaks..hehehe)HAPPY VOTING DAY!
Just heard on FOX that some of our deployed military from Virginia were not given absentee ballots in time, my son is one of those. I hear they are considering a 10 day extension for those in Iraq and Afghanistan to cast their votes. What a crazy election, we need to keep our eyes open and see what happens. I love the photo of the military voting, if anyone deserves to vote it is our military!!! Kathleen
hallie...I could not agree with you more! There are no words I can add, this picture says it all. We vote because of them, and they vote for us.
lela..I'm going to vote in a couple of hours! God Bless us all!
kathy and paula... That is WRONG! Those fighting for our freedoms, should be given EVERY opportunity to vote, to have their ballots counted...even before the rest of us (imho) Such a sad statement of how messed up our system can be at times! We can learn and grow as a nation, I beleive we will!
julie... thanks for stopping by, so glad to know you have allowed your voice to be heard!
ss+1...you are such a good mom by setting such an outstanding example! Out of the mouth of a babe...such innocence and wisdom!
A vote today keeps obama away. I voted.
grandpa... thank you so much for stopping by. I hope each and every American gets out there to let his voice be heard!
Leaving work now to go vote...I love your site, BTW :)
It is a dishonor to all our service men and women to NOT vote! I wouldn't miss it!
No one deserves the privilege more!
steelers... thanks for stopping by and thank you for the kind words!
donna...when you stop ot think of all who have fought for our rights and freedoms, you are correct...it is a dishonor not to vote!
mushy... truly this is a photo which spoke volumes!
Christopher didn't receive an absentee ballot either. Luckily he was home today so as soon as we left the funeral we went to vote.It is sad, they should have been allowed to vote sooner.Army Strong Mom
christopher's mom... as sad the circumstances to bring him home, I am so thankful he had the opportunity to vote! Please know your family is in my prayers.
