A Marine Deploys to Afghanistan

Please allow me to introduce a young Marine, by the name of Zach.

This courageous young man deployed to Afghanistan about two weeks ago. His tour should last for nine months. I've been in touch with his mom, offering support to her and the family. She has not heard from her son yet.

Zach graduated from High School with my son, John. Once upon a time, these two guys were Boy Scouts together... It seems like only yesterday.

Please pray for Zach to remain safe and strong.

Please pray for his Unit, that they will be reunited with their families one day soon.

Please pray for Zach's parents and his brother, along with all the families going through difficult days, weeks and months ahead.

If you wish to write Zach a letter or send him a package, drop me an e-mail and I will provide you with his address.

May Almighty God Bless all of our Airman, Soldiers, Sailors and Marines.

What a good looking boy! Zach is most definately in my prayers, along with his entire Unit. I pray also for his parents, and that they stay strong and hear something soon.

My good friend Elaines son was deployed about 2 months ago, he is also a Marine, and close to my heart. My prayers go out for all of them daily.

tonjia...I will keep Elaine's son in my prayers. Truly, every one of them deserve our prayers. If you would like to e-mail me the address of Elaine's son, I would like to send him a card showing my appreciation and support.

Just wanted to say thank you for stopping by my blog. One of the reasons I decided to jump into this craziness is because of you and others who have embraced Hallie and her family.

I admire what you do so much, supporting the courageous men and women who defend our freedom, and supporting their families during such stressful times.

They and you will be in my prayers.
