Kids Are Kids... and They Love Candy

This photo made me smile today. I packaged up all the leftover Halloween candy (it rained on Halloween night) and shipped it to 'Chief' with a note stating the next box will be filled with toothpaste! I'm rather certain he will share the contents of the box with his flight. I am absolutely certain the children in the area will receive plenty of candy as well! It makes me smile to think of our Soldiers sharing candy with the children in such a faraway land.

Chief is going to weigh 300 lbs by the time he gets home next month. I have two boxes going out to him tomorrow with some candy, magazines, beef jerkey and coffee.

I know he does pass out all his carepackages to his people, too.

I am cooking Snicker Doodles (my favorite cookie) and sending a big box of them to my Grandson to share with his unit. I remember how important those care packages are. Kids are the same all around the world, they love candy.
