This is a follow-up to yesterday's Wednesday Hero, Pvt. William Long.
A young soldier, killed at a Recruiter's Office. Pvt. Long was serving his country, when he was shot. After reading the comments left yesterday, the common thread is the word, terrorism. One of our soldiers, murdered on our soil. From all accounts, this act of violence was premeditated. The man who aimed and fired at these two young soldiers, did it with the intent to kill them. Pvt. Long's mom was sitting in the parking lot, waiting for her son and heard the shots. Imagine, if you will.....
Why is our country not in a complete uproar? Wasn't one loss of life enough to justify outrage for this heinous act?
WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH OUR NATION????
Please pause the playlist on the right sidebar and listen to this interview. Share it with everyone you know. If nothing else, pray for this young man, pray for his family who loves him so, pray for our nation!
Thanks to KATV in Little Rock.

I believe society became politically correct.
usa admiral...may I say I am extremely disappointed?
sarge...I am saddened and sickened.
I'm horrified at this event, and almost equally so that more hasn't been said in the media. We should all be outraged.
ME...thank you!!!!!!!
Oh, AM. This made my cry this morning. I missed yesterday's blog.
I'm with Sarge on this one.
God bless this young man. May he be remembered as a hero.
julie...I thank you for taking the time to listen to this interview.
I'm disgusted by the fact that the men and women who serve our country aren't even safe from the people who live IN our country.
What has the world come to? Why would someone kill a soldier who's protecting the country they live in? He didn't do anything to them,he was killed for what he stood for and it's sickening.
God Bless him and his family.
single...you are right, he was killed for waht he stood for.
AM
As you know this young hero was a local boy to us. KATV and the other local stations covered this alot but I was surprised to see that national media were more interested in the death of a abortionist, date night with the Obama's the poor pitiful terrorist that were waterboarded(notice the sarcasm?)& to add insult to injury the actual killer of these hero has received more air time than the victims. In my opinion alot of the problem with America is the American Media.
God Bless William's soul, his family along with Pvt2 Quinton Ezeagwula & his family.
William will always be remembered as a hero here.
The father is right in that the guy is a broken person. I say stick a grenade up his ass, pull the pin and break him a little more. And it is even more sad that the Liberal media did not give this the coverage they give to what kind of dress Michelle Obama wears.
AM,
This makes me extremely sad. I'm with Sarge on this one. I'm not usually one to promote violence, but we have to protect our men and women in uniform. Yes, he was shot for what he stood for. Praying for his family, that they may find peace in their sorrow.
Blessings,
Mary
My husband has been the recruiting command for 13 yrs now and there is not a day that goes by that I dont worry about this very thing. Thanks for posting.
aam...please know my heart is heavy for your entire community. I feel it necessary to share this interview, to get the word out! America, we lost a soldier on our soil! My son has worked Recruiter Assistance Program, when he completed Tech School...it was how he could extend leave at home and still serve. My heart hurts for this mom. My heart hurts for our nation.
coffeypot...you have read my blog long enough to know, I am a rather easy going person. I love being an American, I love our military...grab a slice of apple pie to finish the cliche`... but this has me pissed off. The more time which passes, to more pissed off I grow.
Hand me the grenade...I've never actually held a 'live' one, but hey...there is a first time for everything!
P.S. Have I said thank you to you lately?
