I prefer to follow is so much easy, nothing to think, no mistakes can be made, no hating myself for choosing the wrong path. Being a robot will be my kind of life.
We have to do both. To be a good leader, you have to be able to follow orders. When I think back of the times I had to take over a team or teams in bad places...it was something I never asked for, I was just picked. Some times...I had good leaders, sometimes my team(s) and I were pretty much on our own. I'm proud to say I never had one troop injured who was working for me. If I see there's nobody around who'll take charge, I'll step up... just like I expect my troops to do when they need to.
Totally lead. It's in my nature. Plus, I'm too damn stubborn to wait around for someone else to do whatever it is. I KNOW I get burned at times cuz I'm always forging my way onto a new path but it's just what works for me.

Btw...your word verification for me today is DINGULL - sort of sounds like an insult! :)
Maybe it is a "mom" thing, but it does depend on the situation. I like to lead, but I will follow when I'm out ranked - someone with more knowledge than me. Sometimes it depends on how many other type-A personalities are in the room and how bad I want to fight.
Gather a group of like cause-- Organize and recognize their various and individual talents... Let them express their ideas... IF you think something or someone in your group is out of order-deal with it... C-CS
I agree with Mighty Mom and Citizen Soldier. Alot depends on the situation. If I am confident in my understanding of the situation then leader it would be.
It depends! If I am with a team going through a door into a hostile environment, I am glad to be the caboose. If I am with a team going through a door to a house of ill repute, I will forcibly lead the way.
Actually I usually end up being the leader no matter where in the group I start out. I’m an easy leader, too. Do it my way, do as I say the instant I say it and we have a very harmonious group.

LEAD. Because I CAN.

Remember a leader without followers is just a man taking a walk.

I think my son received a letter from you. Just wanted to thank you. He told me about it.
How about a little of both?
Lead, which makes me very annoying on the highway.
