Killed in action the week before, the body of Sergeant First Class John C. Beale was returned to Falcon Field in Peachtree City , Georgia , just south of Atlanta , on June 11, 2009 . The Henry County Police Department escorted the procession to the funeral home in McDonough , Georgia . A simple notice in local papers indicated the road route to be taken and the approximate time.

AM-
Thank you for the well needed tissue alert and for always keeping our Service members in the forefront of our minds.
God Bless;

aam...I could not help but cry throughout this video. Truly, it is a must-share!
omg, this was a two tissue alert. After my post yesterday and the late comment from the subject matter, this was so wonderful, and now deserves another post. I will link the video cause these are my people, not matt-man's people. I do not run him off because he keeps me in touch with the enemy.
This is a wonderful post.
What a great tribute, thanks for it Mom.
God Bless
AM, Couldn't open the tissue alert. God bless his family. We've had several soldiers fall in the last two weeks. The last one will be home tomorrow. He leaves a young family. God Bless them.
I took the liberty of copying this entire post and making it part of my post today. Thanks.
What really sucks is when you know soldiers who were killed in Iraq...
One I knew for several years from my old National Guard company, the other was in my unit in Iraq and I just started to really know him...
then there's the several who were wounded in our unit in Iraq....a few really bad.
War sucks. My thoughts are if you are going to go to start a war, you better have a really damn good reason.... a really good reason, because people are going to die.
It's different when you know the face that goes with the name.
God bless Sergeant First Class John C. Beale for his sacrifice.
I'll add SFC Beale to the list I posted last week..
If I could figure out how to embed this type of video -I'd post this with my faith post tomorrow....
Thank You..
